An event by event rundown on some upcoming Brisbane Real Talk and RT Gauntlet battles.

RAN MC GIVES YOU THE RUNDOWN ON REAL TALK - RESTART THE REVOLUTION 3: 

BOSS vs SUTTLE MC 

One of the battles on the first card of 2013 'Real Talk presents: Restart The Revolution 3' is the Boomtown local Boss vs Sydney-sider Suttle MC putting two guys that are on the aggressive come up from two separate leagues against one another so expect the results to be nothing less than completely and utterly spectacular.

On one hand you have Boss from Real Talk Battle League with a track record of 2W-0L that has seen him come straight up and out of the Brisbane RT Gauntlet feeder league after only 2 months. Boss has shown that he is ready to take on some big competition on a national level by making short work of Jiberish in his debut match at 'Real Talk presents: Guard Ya Grill 2' at Elements Collective back in October and also defeating Occaphats at 'Real Talk presents: The Shakedown 2' at Play nightclub just recently in December. Boss is an undeniably hungry battle MC and is looking to take a third consecutive win against his interstate opponent.

"I'm very grateful that Dwiz and Gil have given me the opportunity to take my performances to the Real Talk main card after only two good battles in the RT Gauntlet feeder league and it feels great to be able to take the stuff I've been working on and put it up against guys that have been doing this for a while. I'm psyched to know that my name is spreading quickly but I will remind the readers I'm not the same Boss MC that battled Maniac at Station Battles. That guy needs to change his name and fake his own death because he fucking sucks" Said the real Boss when I caught up with him recently to get his thoughts on his upcoming appearance scheduled to go down on Australia Day January 26th in the open air of Brisbane's Roma Street Parklands. 

"I guess being relatively new to the battle scene still provides me with the upper hand of not having a great deal of ammunition to be used against me. My last two opponents used bars about a town I don't even live in and the rest was impersonal filler so needless to say it didn't hit me very hard, What I would say to Suttle MC before going into this match would be bring your A game. Don't be afraid to get in my face. I don't believe in internet shit talking or whatever so bring your skills and we'll both have a good time"

On the opposite side of the stage for this confrontation you've got Suttle MC coming out of the Western suburbs of Sydney with a record of 1W-1L within the 1-Outs Sydney and Melbourne leagues and is a guy that is no doubt looking to end Boss' undefeated streak. Suttle MC has had impressive one on one battles with guys like MC Luvin and Master G and is an even match for Boss with his unflinching style and relentless delivery. I recently got some of Suttle MC's thoughts on his Real Talk debut before he makes the interstate Northbound journey to get the battle happening.

"Boss has good wordplay and structure and all the things that make a good battle MC but I'm just more raw than him, I've had a few battles now so inside that circle I'm right at homeland I'm going to prepare with half a dozen green bottles before I get there. I think the fact that pumpkin pubes is on a winning streak will boost his confidence coming into the battle but wins and losses don't really mean shit to me, as long as you have a dope match and hold your own nobody really loses"

But at the end of the day when all is said and done there can only be one winner. Who do you think it will be?
